RefundPolicy.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how payments, deposits, and refunds work for Solobox project work. By engaging our services, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms of Service.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to Solobox services across Build, Manage, Grow, and Automation — including website design, development, hosting, domains, SEO, social, ads, and conversion tools quoted or invoiced by Solobox ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by SOLOBOX in South Africa.

3. Payment Processing

Online payments are processed by Paystack. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Paystack where possible. Bank or card issuer timelines may add several business days after we submit the refund.

4. Deposits & Milestones

Most projects begin with a non-refundable deposit to reserve the schedule and cover discovery, planning, and initial build work. Remaining fees are typically billed by milestone or on a schedule set out in your proposal or invoice. Work on later stages starts only after the relevant payment clears.

5. When Refunds May Apply

If we cancel a project before meaningful work has begun, we may refund unused prepaid amounts at our discretion. If you cancel after work has started, fees for completed milestones and time already spent are due and not refundable. Unused prepaid balances for work not yet started may be considered for partial refund, less a reasonable admin fee.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable once purchased or delivered: deposits, completed milestone work, third-party costs (domains, hosting, plugins, stock assets, paid tools), rush fees, and revision rounds already used under your agreement.

7. Digital Deliverables

Website files, designs, and other digital deliverables provided under a paid milestone are considered delivered when shared with you (for example via staging link, repository, or file transfer). Refunds are not offered for delivered work that meets the agreed scope.

8. Subscriptions & Recurring Services

Ongoing services such as Manage, Grow, or Automation retainers renew as stated on the invoice. You may cancel future renewals with notice before the next billing date. Fees already charged for a started period are not refunded unless required by law.

9. How to Request a Refund

Email us at josh@solobox.io with your name, invoice or project reference, and reason for the request. We will review within a reasonable time and reply with an outcome. If approved, we process the refund via Paystack to the original payment method where possible.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can resolve the issue directly. Unfounded chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery of fees and related costs.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
